With the stock sump there is a serious risk of oil starvation due to the oil moving away from the pickup under situations with extreme g forces. This uprated high capacity sump deals with the problem in two ways. The baffles incorperate a trap-door design, allowing the oil to move into the path of the oil pickup, but not move away from it, combined with the extra capacity of the sump. This combination virtually eliminates any chances of oil starvation. In addition, the extra oil capacity, extra surface area and finned design will make a significant difference to oil temperature, helping keep temperatures low under high engine loads. Overall a good upgrade helping to maintain the health of your engine even under extreme situations. Comes complete with full fitting kit, including new sump bolts.
