U1
The Sangean
U1 is a rugged AM, FM utility radio that is made to stand up the the
weather. It is water resistant to JIS4 standards and has been ruggedized
for the construction or camp site. It has a smooth rotary vernier [5:1]
tuning knob and LED tune indicator and backlit analog dial. The 6.5 inch
full range speaker and Deep Bass Boost combine for an awesome sound.
The U1 has
an AC wire compartment with a heavy six foot AC cord. This rugged radio
is great for camping, the garage or at the work site. It can also be played
from six D cells (not supplied) and can even be operated from external
9 to 14 VDC. There is an 3.5mm AUX input for an external audio source.
There is also a 1/4 inch (6.5mm) mic input jack so it is public address
capable with optional mic. 10.25x14.5x10 inches 9 Lbs.
